The Women’s Resource Center is currently accepting the following new items to assist our client families:

► Diapers & Pull-ups (all sizes, especially 4, 5, 6 & 7)

► Cleaning and paper products (new)

  • Laundry detergent
  • Dryer sheets / balls
  • Cleaning spray & wipes (Clorox/Lysol)
  • Paper towels
  • Toilet paper
  • Facial tissue (Kleenex)
  • Air freshener

► Personal care items (new)

  • Hand soap, bar soap & body wash
  • Moisturizers & skin products
  • Razors
  • Shampoo & conditioner (travel sizes accepted!)
  • Hair brushes
  • Cold and allergy medication

► Bedding (new)

  • Twin bed sheets and pillow cases
  • Twin mattress protectors
  • Twin blankets, comforters and quilts

► SPECIAL REQUESTS:

  • New only:
    • Cosmetics
    • Diapers – Size 6 (lots!)
    • Dryer sheets / balls
  • New or gently used:
    • Bath Towels
    • Toilet training seat

If you can help with these much-needed items, please contact Taryn at 401-648-9488 to schedule a time to drop off the items at our Warren or Newport locations or make arrangements for pick up. If any donations are unable to be used by the WRC, they will be forwarded to another charity or donation center.

🚫 Used clothing and stuffed animals

To recycle used clothing and shoes to benefit the Women’s Resource Center (WRC), place your bagged items in the Big Brothers Big Sisters donation bin located behind our office at 624 Main St., Warren, RI.  The textiles will be recycled, instead of going to the landfill, and the WRC will receive a portion of the proceeds!
