Recycle your old cell phone to benefit the Women’s Resource Center!
You can support victims of domestic violence by donating your old cell phone to the Women’s Resource Center (WRC). The WRC participates in a cell phone recycling program where donated cell phones are turned in, and depending upon the condition of the phone, it will either be refurbished or recycled in an environmentally friendly way. Learn more about Zero Landfill Recycling.
Each phone turned in earns cash grants for the WRC to be used toward its advocacy, education and support programs. Unlock and power your old device for maximum payout to the WRC. All devices in any condition are accepted.
Boxes, cases, power cords and other supplies are not accepted for this program. Find an Indy Cycle event near you to recycle wires, cords and other unwanted electronics.
Host a cell phone donation drive! Ask your employer, school, library, post office and police station for unclaimed cell phones left in the lost and found. Drop boxes are conveniently located at our advocacy office locations 42 Spring St., Suite 15, Newport, RI and 624 Main St., Warren, RI.
Call 401-236-8365 with any questions and to make arrangements for pick up. Thank you for your support!
